DeeAnn Palin

Founding Principal & CEO

With over twenty-five years of Business and Executive Leadership experience, DeeAnn Palin is highly skilled at helping businesses grow and scale, as well as turn-around operations, homing in on problem areas and setting a clear path to excellence.  She takes pride in identifying and solving key business issues and creating game changing strategies.

DeeAnn is Founder and CEO of OnPoint Business Solutions, where she works with mid-market CEOs and Boards to help them scale for growth, build profitability and culture, and/or prepare for sale.  She partners with AZ Growth Advisors and leads CEO, Key Executive and CFO roundtables.  She also is Arizona President of Board Developer and facilitates Boards and Organization Development Strategies for companies under their guidance.

DeeAnn Palin has extensive experience in coaching, organization development and culture change, and complements that with exceptional operations and results management.  She has leveraged these skills in working with executives and across large companies, in start-ups, and in for-profit and nonprofit Boards and operations.  She has worked in a multitude of industries including High Tech, Insurance, Retail, Private Education, Healthcare, and Sports & Entertainment.  Ms. Palin is a Project and Change Management Professional and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Northern Arizona University.

Her experience includes the role of SVP of Operations and Strategy for the Phoenix Suns where she led the corporate strategy and business plan and drove several multi-million dollar projects.  In her time there, she facilitated a major transformation of their technology, Human Resources and other key operations.

Ms. Palin coaches businesses and key executives through personal and organizational transformation.   She is highly effective at helping leaders become more self-aware, operate at a higher level, have better working relationships and achieve great operations results.

DeeAnn has two young adult children and loves hiking, traveling and adventures.  Ms. Palin has served in leadership roles on several boards, most recently as Chair of the Northern Arizona University Foundation Board and is currently leading the NAU Honors College Advisory Board.

Mary Ann Sturm

President, Strategic HR & Total Rewards

With 25+ years as a Human Resources executive, business leader and consultant, Mary Ann is recognized as a highly accomplished and respected executive leader who drives human capital strategies and best practices, organization and culture change, talent/leadership development and engagement delivering outstanding performance and results.  She leverages a combination of deep Human Resources, operations, total rewards expertise and business insight skills to build teams possessing a passion for excellence. Mary Ann has led transformational business initiatives including mergers and acquisitions. She is viewed as a valued strategic thinker, committed partner, and trusted board and committee advisor.

 Throughout her career Mary Ann has been a trustworthy coach to executive teams and boards, cross functional business and community leaders, and has mentored employees at all levels. It is that experience that’s given her the deep people and communications skills, empathy, and a commitment to help others achieve greater clarity and career direction. Mary Ann’s authenticity, compassion and desire to help others succeed has built sustaining trust among her clients and makes her a valued career and executive coach.

Her insights into career development have motivated many to explore their interests, hone their skills, and build new career paths. She guides her clients to dream big and embrace new beginnings.

Earlier in her career, Mary Ann leveraged her skills at large companies, start-ups, and nonprofit boards and operations, and has worked in a multitude of industries including high tech, insurance, and medical devices. She spent 15 years as an HR leader at CopperPoint Insurance Company and six years at Orthologic, among other organizations. 

Mary Ann has an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Stuart Wachs

Practice Leader, Operations

Stuart Wachs has 25+ years of senior-level leadership experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. He has successfully led organizational startups, scales, and turnarounds.  He brings deep background and experience in operations, strategy, leadership development, coaching and building strong sustainable cultures.  Stuart has worked with diverse sectors including tech, local-national-and international non-profits, the arts, entertainment and a variety of start-ups.

Stuart’s diverse professional background includes Being CEO of three non-profits, founder and CEO of an Industrial Technology Company, Founder of an-inline hockey facility as well as serving as COO, an advisor and consultant.  Stuart has a management degree from Ohio University and a Completed a certificate program in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management from Harvard University.

Stuart helps organizations define their purpose, align their direction, and develop strategies to increase their revenues, funding, and impact.  His proven ability to build high-performing teams, develop and implement strategic plans, establish and improve brand,  and create organizational culture, helps organizations to meet and exceed their goals.

His supportive coaching style guides leaders through personal and organizational challenges, so they grow personally and professionally, and become more impactful leaders.

Ashley Brooker

Senior Advisor, Strategic HR & Business Operations

Ashley Brooker is a SHRM-CP certified human resource executive with more than 20 years of progressive experience supporting the human capital initiative in multiple industries including healthcare, military aerospace, and electronics manufacturing.  Ashley is a champion of diversity, employee wellness, and culture efforts and firmly believes that when you support the whole employee, business success follows. Through Ashley’s human resource leadership and culture initiatives, she has helped organizations become certified through Great Place to Work, Fortune Best Healthcare Workplace, and various state Best Place to Work awards, as well as Mental Health America and Cigna Wellness awards.  Ashley has extensive experience in employee relations, leadership development, employee training, benefit design, recruiting, change management, and mergers and acquisition activity.

Ashley believes in creating workplaces where people thrive, succeed, and ultimately want to be. She is a servant leader and takes time out of her day to participate in mentorship and development programs for up-and-coming HR individuals. Ashley is also a published author for dental industry blogs and writes on human resources, training, and employment-related topics.

Ashley has identical twin boys and four stepchildren. She lives in Melbourne, Florida with her husband, children, and 3 Labrador retrievers. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family, go to the beach or pool, hike, play with her dogs, and travel.

Ashley attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Ashley also holds a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governor’s University.
